Sea breeze, waves sound & ferry honks wakes me up early in the morning. Time is 3:45am and the sky is still as dark as the charcoal. My eyes peeps and walla it's time for a Honeymoon holiday!! I woke up sweetie for an exciting week ahead before I head on to bathroom.
4:45am : All necessary stuffs i.e. towels, toiletries, clothing, battery charger & etc. are pack correctly, counting one by one to ensure there is no missing surprise. The song from Bruno Mars was playing in the car and both of us are having strong feeling that this honeymoon trip will be a great, relaxing and exciting one! Upon turning in Cangkat Jering exit; here comes the "kampung" roads; narrow, bumpy at times and along the way surrounded by rumah kampung and palm oil estate. The GPS is not working at times due to no satellite signal and the road signs are not helping us as it does not show our final destination. It all depends on our luck now whether we are able to reach Lumut Jetty before 7:45am else the next boat trip will be at 11am where we will be on "pit-stop" for 3 hours.
6:45am: Time is running out, 1 more hours to go before we missed the 1st boat. The road is long and straight, feels like I will have a never ending driving experience. From far I saw the next road signs; probably 500 meter away, as it get closer I saw Lumut Jetty! It's just 2km before I reached there and the time now is 7:15am. We were relieved and happy at the same time! Finally, we saw a signboard displaying PLR and we smells it's time for a GREAT HONEYMOON!!
